ABC cancels Adam Lambert's Good Morning America performance
Aneez | Nov 25 2009

The morning is not so good for Adam Lambert. His shi*ty performance at the AMAs on Sunday has started giving off echos. In the latest, ABC has pulled the plug on Adam Lambert’s Good Morning America performance.

People reports,

The network has made it clear that Lambert won’t be performing on its morning program. It cancelled an appearance on Good Morning America slated for Wednesday after receiving over 1,500 complaints about the Sunday broadcast. The network says it doesn’t feel he’d be appropriate for a morning audience. After the GMA cancellation, CBS asked Lambert to perform on its Early Show on Wednesday instead.

Are you surprised? Well, if you are, then you need to visit a doctor ASAP. If you haven’t seen his AMAs performance yet, click here and help yourself. After you have seen the video and frowned your nose in disgust, ask yourself a question - are you ready to get this stuff shoved up your nose first thing in the morning?

Good mourning, Adam!

As someone who was trained by ABC News as an intern for 2 years, I have to say they know what they’re doing when it comes to news and what their viewers want and I must defend them. ABC received 15,000 complaints about Adam’s AMA performance, It doesn’t surprise me that they would choose not to have him perform live again so soon after that. They have to think about what viewers think, trust me, ratings is a BIG part of it all.
And as for Adam, sorry but what Janet, Madonna, and Britney have done was all on either MTV, HBO, showtime, basically cable TV, ABC has always been known as a family network. It’s owned by disney! That performance was not appropriate for a family music award show. He could have saved it for the VMA’s.

Thanks a lot for your comment, Meriam. I totally side with you on this issue. AL is a highly overrated non-star who is shrewd enough to use his sexuality to get support of a particular community and keep the party going on. Had he been straight, he would have faded by now!! ABC did the right thing by axing his performance.
