Vinod | Jun 23 2008

Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with Emphysema which is a deadly disease caused by smoking. In this disease the patient’s lungs get damaged and ages prematurely, which in turn leaves the patient struggling to breathe. Amy has been warned by the doctors that if she doesn’t quit smoking immediately she will have to live on oxygen for the rest of her life. Amy’s father has even warned her drug dealers publicly so that they don’t try to approach her. He especially mentioned the name of Pete Doherty in his special message.

Amy’s father said,

I’m saying to those drug dealers, and they know who they are, if they are supplying crack to Amy, then they have got to take responsibility. I don’t want her hanging out with her mates like Pete Doherty either.

Now, it is high time and Amy will have to take a firm step because this fatal disease will ruin her career as well as her life. She is a very good performer and her fans would be very hurt on knowing about her. And above all, she is just 24-years-old and needs to see life and enjoy it. She must be given some counseling and that might help her and turn her from drug addiction to some creative and fruitful work.
