According to reports, Angelina Jolie is set to do something that would be considered suicidal by most of her ilk. It is believed that she would be playing Catwoman in a forthcoming movie despite the fact that the last Catwoman movie starring Halle Berry not only bombed at the box office but also got panned by the critics universally. In fact, it went on to receive four Razzies and was probably the worst superhero movie ever made!
Although Catwoman is originally a villain from the Batman series, the Halle Berry starrer didn’t retain much of the original storyline and tried to build an independent franchise. So it has to be seen what Jolie gets to do in the next flick though she also deserves the pivotal role rather than playing second fiddle to Batman. It is going to be difficult to get positive response considering the record of the predecessor, but let’s hope that Jolie would cast her spell and give us another tough chick flick!
