Brad Pitt has now plans to create almost more than 100 affordable and ecofriendly homes in Lower 9th Ward. The construction work has already started from North Derbigny to North Galvez streets. The pink blocks and roofs can be thought of any work of art but they are the houses scheduled according to brad Pitt’s ‘Make it Right’ project of more than 100 homes.

On November 9, Pitt had donated a mega amount of $5 million to this project and producer and environmental philanthropist Steve Bing also contribute $5million. Hundreds of workers were busy assembling the parts of the houses and among them stood Angelina Jolie herself totally involved with the project. Even Brad Pitt was also seen among them in grey sweatshirt and a cap. Angelina is very happy to see her husband involved in the development of New Orleans.

After joining the environmental organization Global green in 2006, Pitt had announced about this project. In January Pitt and Jolie had even bought a house in New Orleans and the family stayed during the shooting of Pitt’s film, ‘The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button’, which is scheduled to release in 2008.
