Britney's locks attracts bid of $250, 000

Britney Spears chopped-off locks have created confusion. There are many sellers claiming to authentic locks. A seller in Germany claimed to have a few locks, another seller in Australia also claimed to have real locks. And a seller in Glasgow also insisted that his friend, who had returned from Los Angeles, had been lucky to pick up a few locks.

Dozens of sellers claiming the possession of Britney Spears chopped off locks had put them for sale on eBay.

By Saturday a seller was offering clearly fake blonde locks and other vendor was offering Brit’s dyed black hair. I wonder why people will buy her chopped-off locks?

But the New York Daily News, reports that he authentic locks of singer’s hair have been put on sale on a specially created website for a cool $1m by Esther Tognozzi of Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, Los Angeles.

According to eBay, by yesterday afternoon, one advertisement had attracted bids of $250,000 for a ‘priceless piece of music memorabilia’.
