British television personality Carol Vorderman, best known for being a long-standing co-presenter of Channel 4 game show Countdown, broke-up from her partner, sports journalist Des Kelly.

The couple shared a home for five years and decided to split few days before Christmas.

Vorderman’s rep said,

It is an amicable parting and they remain very good friends.

Vorderman was first married in 1985 at age 24 to Chris Mather, but the marriage only lasted eighteen months.

She again married consultant Patrick King in 1990 at age 29, and had two children, Katie and Cameron. But this marriage also doesn’t work-out and she separated from King in 2000.

Since 2000, Vorderman has been living with Des Kelly in London. But she departed from Kelly also.
