Either George Clooney doesn’t want people around him or he is seriously an earth savior. George who had purchased a villa in the town of Laglio, which is situated by the lake Como joined the 300 protesters that stood against the ongoing large-scale construction. Clooney fears that because of his presence the town is being turned into a tourist attraction which can affect the ecology of the area. He even signed the petition.
And the protest has even worked well as the mayor of the town has cancelled some of the plans which as per the people would have affected the town’s environment on a large scale. Statistics reveal that since Clooney moved in to the area, the influx of tourist has increased. The town people are impressed by Clooney’s personnel efforts for the worthy cause.
Hmmm...I am sure everyone is proud of Clooney’s participation in the protest.
