We have always known that guys like women who act like their mothers and keep them in control. Hugh Grant is no exception and he has admitted as much quite frankly. He cites it as one of the reasons why he likes Jemima.
The actor is reported to have said that he is attracted to Jemima because she is ’strong’, almost as much as his mom was. He likes the fact that the lady lords over him and orders him around like his mom.
The 46-year-old actor is reported to have said:
I have quite a strong girlfriend who shakes me like a rat and says ‘get on with things’....I expect it’s all to do with one’s mother. I find that men who have strong mothers get quite attracted to strong women thereafter.
That’s not exactly a psychological revelation, but seems it dawned upon the actor quite recently.
