Jeremy Slate, 80, Hollywood’s beach boy and a multitalented actor who co-wrote and starred in the cult film “Hell’s Angels 69′ died on Sunday, his agent confirmed.
He was one of the most talented members of Hollywood. Jeremy Slate sent feminine hearts aflutter as co-star of the 1960 TV series ‘The Aquanauts’ and a few years later appeared along with Elvis Presley in ‘Girls! Girls! Girls!’

Slate died at UCLA Medical Center of complications following surgery for esophageal cancer.
He guest starred on nearly 100 TV shows, including ‘Gunsmoke’, ‘Mission: Impossible’, ‘Bewitched’ and ‘Police Story.’ Most recently, he was seen in the NBC sitcom ‘My Name is Earl.’
He could be seen in a brace of Elvis flicks, GI Blues (1961) and as Scandinavian beefcake Eric Carlson in Bob Hope’s I’ll Take Sweden. His other works were Deadlock (1998), Hell’s Angels Forever (1983), and The Son of Katie Elder (1965).
From 1979 to 1987, he was a regular on the ABC soap ‘One Life to Live’ as Chuck Wilson, his longest-running role.
