Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s baby Harlow doesn’t seem to be reason enough for the duo to tie the knot. Perhaps its Joel’s religious rigidity that is keeping it on the cards. Fearing Nicole’s rebellious past, Joel wants her to convert to Christianity before they get married and ask forgiveness for her sins so that she is able to raise little Harlow with the same religious upbringing that he had. Joel hates the idea of Harlow being labeled as another spoiled Hollywood child in future. It is clear from the National Enquirer that Nicole is all willing to convert but she also has a lot of pressure on her for doing the same by Joel. And to be true this isn’t a natural way of seeking divine faith, if under somebody’s threat or pressure. I think Joel should give Nicole some time to ingrain that feeling in her and seek divinity with complete desire and a feeling of surrender within. Nicole is currently reported of having trouble with adjusting to motherhood and compromising with her present life of responsibility as compared to her past fast life of partying and freaking out. Though Nicole has already begun her spiritual transformation and is on her way of embracing Joel’s religious beliefs, I really wish Nicole a happy motherhood and a speedy spiritual makeover for all her previous rehab stints, drunk driving and drug arrests.
