This one couple just loves kids; and it doesn’t matter if they’re not their own! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $1 million to help kids affected by the war in Iraq. They feel their deed would encourage others to do the same. The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict will distribute the funds to four organizations working on behalf of children who have lost parents, homes and schools in Iraq. Children in the U.S. who have lost parents in the conflict will also benefit. Jolie believes these educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal. This is not the first time the couple has donated; Last year, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation gave more than $300,000 to support the International Rescue Committee’s relief program for Darfur refugees. With people like Jolie-Pitt around, the world is definitely going to be a better, educated place to live in.
