A spokeswoman for the Chief Medical Examiner’s office told Us magazine that a full autopsy on Heath Ledger will be “completed sometime in the early afternoon” on Wednesday.

The actor who was found dead in his Lower Manhattan apartment by his housekeeper is assumed to have overdosed on prescription pills.

No foul play has been suspected by the police so far but the New York Times reports that signs point to a possible suicides as Ledger was found “naked and unconscious on a bed, with sleeping pills-both prescription medication and non-prescription- on a night table.”
