As with every divorce case, the recent Madonna-Guy Ritchie split is heading towards an ugly platform. Accusations and allegations from both the sides have started to appear in the open, giving us the tentative picture of how ugly this battle could end up to be.

Madonna’s lawyers are doing their best to portray Guy as a cold and verbally-abusive person without any emotional attachment towards Madonna, whereas the Guy camp, that includes his 78-year-old father John Ritchie, is trying to paint Madonna as a beast who likes to call the shots.

Madonna’s lawyers have accused Guy for playing with her emotions throughout their marriage of 7 1/2 years. According to them, Guy used to give unruly comments like ’she looked like a granny’ and ’she could not act’, which made Madonna emotionally fragile. On the other hand, Guy’s father has accused Madonna for undermining his son by ridiculing him openly in public.

If we sum up the allegations and accusations from both the sides, we can easily make out that the main intention of both the parties is to portray the other one as the dominant partner in the marriage. Obviously, to emerge as the repressed one and earn sympathy.

Anyway, the battle has just begun. And I’m sure it’ll be a long-stretched one.
