Britney Spears’ mother Lynne has charged her pal and sometime manager Sam Lutfi of drugging the pop star in an attempt to gain control of her life, home and financial assets. Lynne filed a sworn declaration in the court to obtain a temporary restraining order against Lutfi.
The granted order will now forbid Lutfi from contacting Britney in any way.
Lynne wrote in the declaration:
Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney. He has cut Britney’s home phone and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything—Britney’s business manager, her attorneys and her security guards at the gate.
Lynne also described the disturbing behavior exhibited by her daughter when she visited the pop star’s LA home on January 28:
Britney… became very agitated and could not stop moving. She cleaned the house. She changed her clothes many times. She also changed her dogs’ clothes many times. Britney spoke to me in a tone and with the level of understanding of a very young girl.
Lynne also said that Lutfi had claimed to her and a friend that he administered some kind of pills to Britney ground up in her food and told her that she had to take “10 pills a day” if she wished to ever see her young boys.
Britney, who is currently hospitalized for a mental evaluation at the UCLA Medical Centre, is due to have a court-appointed psychiatrist examine her to determine if she is capable of understanding the legal proceedings around her.
Britney’s father Jamie Spears and her attorney Andrew Wallete have been given temporary control of her assets, including her LA home.

fame is too bad a thing ppl it’ll never let you live or die in peace. Paparazzi are the devil’s messengers that tease you all the way and the case is not as grave as it seems, but the fame and hype...and you are in doldrums...
may be more- she was misdiagnosed and given the wrong medication, adding fuel to the fire and hence her mental illness, it totally screwed up her levels and her body chemistry and she will have to detox first before they can even begin to get things straight. but it is a great relieve for her fans likes of me to not to see her photographed distorted.
