‘Wedding Crashers’ star Owen Wilson was rushed to St. John’s hospital in Santa Monica, Calif. on Sunday, August 26, after the star tried to commit suicide. Wilson sliced his left wrist and took an undetermined number of pills.

A family member discovered him just before noon and called 911 for help. His wrist was sutured and bandaged at the hospital. Star reports that police were on the scene immediately, as were some of his family and a criminal defense attorney believed to be working for Wilson.

Kate Hudson’s ex boyfriend Wilson arrived at the hospital in a very serious condition but is now in stable condition. Now he has been shifted from St. John’s and to another Los Angeles-area hospital.
