Rihanna helps leukemia patient to find bone marrow donor

Rihanna, the 20-year-old singer recently became an Ambassador of Culture and Youth of her native Barbados, is now working for a cause. The caring singer is helping 41 year old Lisa Flynn, mother of two young kids, suffering from leukemia to find a suitable bone marrow donor.

As per sources, the young singer’s charity, Believe, working with DKMS, the largest non-profit marrow donor center based in Germany. The organization is looking for bone marrow donors for New Yorker Lisa Flynn and other needy patients.

Lisa Flynn said that she was pleasant surprised by Rihanna’s helping nature, for her and other cancer patients. Rihanna won a Grammy last month for her super hit ‘Umbrella’ and her fight to save people from fatal illness and to help raise awareness continues.
