Sharon stone has been lately known for two reasons- fur and fuss! While she has no qualms about adorning herself in animal fur, she has been in news recently for her dismissing comments about the Chinese earthquake. Stone has infuriated both the Chinese government and the PETA. Though, she blatantly refused to stop wearing animal fur, she had to apologise to China for blaming their bad karma and their treatment to Tibet for the devastating earthquake that came there in the near past! While Chinese mellowed, PETA seems in no mood to let go. It claims that Stone lacks empathy and needs neurological treatment. Ingrid Newkirk, the president of PETA, went to the extent of offering Stone a free brain scan in a letter written to her.
