Singers and actresses are a breed apart. But Mariah Carey is even more different. She loves luxury. She said once that the good material things enable her to get past the rough patches of life. She says she would feel violated if she had to carry a child in her womb. And her mistrust of men is well known.

Her lyrics in her latest album ‘E=MC2′ say,

If there’s a camera up in here then I’d best not catch this flick on You Tube, ‘cos if you run your mouth and brag about this secret rendezvous I will hunt you down.

Now with a lady like her, it would have the most consummate match-makers throw up their hands in despair. But unbelievably Mariah did marry Nick Cannon. Nasty tongues had then wagged that the relatiopnship would not last.long. It seems the predictions are coming true. One of the singer’s friend recently said she gives the marriage six months tops.

The reasons are not difficult to find. Mariah Carey has turned her hubby into a sort of a personal valet, who is always running around doing her errands. The friend of Mariah mentioned earlier adds,

Mariah’s assistants and friends call him ‘Whipped Nick’ behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won’t stand up for himself

Sooner or later the man in Nick Cannon will awaken. It will be curtains for the marriage then.
