Writers strike is over says Disney’s Eisner

Writers’ strike has come to an end, as per US media reports. Disney’s chief executive, Michael Eisner says a deal had been struck between Hollywood writers and major media companies.

The Writers Guild of America accepted the deal for high-money contracts with media companies. Writers will be back to work very soon, Eisner seemed to be uncertain in the beginning, but suggested the deal’s approval was unavoidable and it could be foolish if the writers reject the agreement. The deal came up last Friday.

The writers got a huge fans support in New York City, and it’s a fair deal, Eisner said.
